Why are September and January the only choices?  Why not potentially in between?  I am comfortable with my child playing but wouldn’t mind possibly starting league play until October at this point.  I think a good practice is more valuable than games to some degree considering most of these kids haven’t played since February/March.

What a freekin snowflake...lets all hide in our homes until Covid-19 is eradicated from the earth.  Let's hide every flu season. We don't need you and the government telling us what we can do or how much risk we want to assume...which is this case is a tiny, tiny risk for anyone not very old and with co-morbidities.  Let me guess you're a democrat and think its unsafe to vote in person?

public health expert.  untrustable these days.

you have to use common sense.  if you are obese, or otherwise compromised, you should remain relatively isolated for your own safety.  otherwise, it looks like a cold, drink your cranberry and tonic, eat your vitamin C and D and wear a stupid mask to keep your funk to yourself.  problem solved.
