2024-25 Movement

Rumors are flying about major movement at the PW & SQ AAA/AA level. I hear PHC, FE, LF, JRF, FY are all losing and gaining players.  Mercer and Igloo are mostly losing players. Igloo is so desperate they are having a town hall meeting to convince families to stay! Lots of movement since AA & AAA are basically same price and same travel. This will be the craziest tryout season since 2021 when PHC/Hollydell decimated FE and had families scrambling for a new rink. One thing I know for sure, rinks will be making bank from tryouts!

Hearing 2010 JRF losing some key players.  Should be a fun March/April!

Also hearing there will be quite a lot of movement at the 2011 birth year (1st year Bantam) around Mercer/Little Flyers/Minutemen/PHC/JRF all these teams are dismantling.

Really good talent is spread among those rinks. Too bad the best talent doesnt gather at 1-2 rinks and have teams that are competitive outside of this area

All that time and money to be a mid 40's ranked team that gets beat bad once you leave NJ/PA. Too many letter chasing parents

Good thought, but the District makes that near impossible with the only two player movement per season clause from one team to the next.  From what I’ve heard, only the Atlantic District has this clause.

Bigger issue is allowing all the T1 charters to water down the talent of AAA.  I believe AAHA is trying to address over the next few years, but that’s the only thing that’s going to fix it - although if the checkbooks continue to be open, no one is going to say no to the letter chasing
