Think those games against NJD were before this whole thing exploded plus they were played in NJ.  Still waiting for official word.  Radio silence from NYSAHA....

1) they do stack teams, we played for them!

2) 2000 per family!  believe me, some other fools who live vicariously through their kids will pay it!

This was sent to us by a guest here who is a member of a private facebook group where what appears to be a full story was posted. While the story is similar to what was posted here, it sounds a lot more involved with more than 1 offender and way more details. It begs the question. What is the accurate story and disciplinary action? What team was the Gulls players victim?

Full Context:
So, today my older son was supposed to play a hockey game against the Long Island Gulls. Both teams are 2005's - 14 years old tier one in the AYHL.

The Long Island Gulls had to forfeit the game today because 10 of their players were suspended for the entire season for an incident last week where 5 players went and **** and pissed in the opposing teams bags in their locker room. It was later determined that the entire team would be suspended for the 2019-20 season.

During the investigation, it was discovered that six sets of parents 'encouraged' this due to the team needing to "make statement about who they're dealing with". The coach of this team is just back after serving a two year suspension for assaulting an official.

This is youth sports today.

Thanks for posting.  Pity we’ve heard zip “official” from NYSAHA or league. Don’t agree “This is youth sports today”.  If it were folks wouldn’t be talking about it.  This is so far outside what’s acceptable.  Completely outrageous and unacceptable behavior. All involved should be barred from hockey.

My guess is NYSAHA is keeping silent because they have yet to conclude investigations or make final decisions.  Plus, you are dealing with minors and I doubt any names will ever be officially mentioned.  It's a terrible thing to have happened.

My son plays on the Junior Flyers 2005 team. They played the Caps on Sunday. The Caps were supposed to play the Gulls on Saturday and the game was forfeited. We still haven't heard any offical decision since we were supposed to play this team 3 times this year.

If any of you have spent time in a rink with Gulls parents, then you shouldn't be surprised.

AYHL needs to let 05 schedulers know if all 05 Gulls games are canceled for the season. Ice is already paid for (and expensive...) so need time to reschedule, find new opponents....

This all happened at a practice (and I know the entire team it happened TO). They were all sort of arguing and when the second team went on the ice, the Gulls did this. The whole organization is despicable and should be shut down completely.
