People love giving their kids extra assists when they aren't even on the ice.
Assists are now useless as they cant be trusted. Only look at goals to determine how a player did.
Great job parents!

it took you this long to figure that out?

It depends on what parent is running score sheet. We had a guy give his kid an assist every time a goal was scored when he was on the ice even if he did not touch the puck. The thing is if you are judging how a kid played by goals/assist/points you are an idiot. There is more to the game than points. My sons team had a kid score a hat trick, but was directly responsible for 5 goals against. Stop worrying about points and get you kid to play a 200 foot game.

That’s what’s wrong with this game. Mommy’s and daddy’s in score box and putting up points for their kids when their kid isn’t even in the play or on the ice. Let’s look at plus and minus and how the kids managed the game. Everyone all tied up who’s got one points it will make for bad hockey being played when kids worry abt getting them points instead of playing team hockey. But mommy and daddy will continue to add points so they can puff their chest out my kid is leading scorer.

This post is almost as bad as putting extra points on the stat sheet, almost.
