12/19/2022 Black Bear informed us that our travel club will no longer exist.  Our players will have to travel now and hopefully be absorbed by another club.  If this is an improvement to youth hockey in rural Pennsylvania I have a bridge to sell you.

Cap City Vipers.  they are not disbanding.  They are merging with Palmyra which will bring better coaching.  Still will play out of Twin Ponds.  Will be great for us.

So the Black Knights will play out of both rinks? (17 miles apart) It should make the already strong PBK program ever deeper.

Right after Christmas, they "booted out" the oldest and longest standing non-profit youth hockey organization (Pittsburgh Vipers) from the Pittsburgh Ice Arena, and brought on their own FOR-profit team; The Pittsburgh Husky's. After this season, the Viper kids have no place to play.

Black Bear is a shameless, money hungry disgrace to the sport.

Couldn't the Vipers kids play for the Huskies?

Of course they can.  The mom and dad that run the vipers are just upset their power is gone.  Vipers are terrible.  in decline for years.  hope BB can provide better hockey thru huskies.
