Do you have that in a prepared statement from the AAHA? Clubs seem to do as they please with tryouts and they do bombard their membership with emails advising returning players must be registered and paid in order to be allowed on the ice.

we're talking tier II hockey.  most of the time it's the parent figuring out who is going where, which club will be the best, and trying to figure out what team will win the most for their kid.  If the kid is that competitive, the parent should look for Tier I options.  tier II level, it's different.  But most parents don't figure that out, if at all, until their kid is finished playing.

Not everyone has the option of Tier1 either due to cost or location.

Isn't the price and location part of the hard core draw? None of that is supposed to matter. I mean that is what separates the lowly tier 2 families and players from the god like tier 1 parents and their future NHL prodigies. Am I right  :o :D ;D
