Genesis didn't have any problems. They did the same exact thing last year, and everybody wondered the same things, everything your talking about and everything worked out fine for them. Besides don't expect miracles there will be hiccups and bumps in the road but we will find our way. You will pay anywhere you go so there really isnt any reason to say anything about the money.

Change is an opportunity. Vince is a great guy with a great program. Can it be better? Sure it can. give it time.

Two types of parents. One Playing for fun and the love of the game. Two kids that want to compete and want their kids to excel. Neither are wrong.

Truth be told most parents in number two, your kids just aren’t good enough and never focused on the fundamentals like skating.

Time will tell but the Royals far as I can remember have been around since 1989. Glaciers are gone, blazers are gone, and plenty others.

Royals uniforms this year are awesome! Teams are solid. This is all good for the sport and the kids. The parents keep playing men’s league...

There is no problems with the Royals.  The Rev has charged high prices promising the rink will get better and each year it’s more excuses.  The ice is terrible and the building is falling apart.  They charge the highest prices for an hour of ice.  I hope the Royals are getting suckered into paying for a place that paved a parking lot and has done nothing to improve the ice or inside the building.  Hey but now they got a DVHL team.  Gonna be interesting seeing their dues!

You obviously havent been to the rink in a while. Yes it needs a lot of work inside and out and thats exactly what theyve been doing be thankful because alot of rinks don't do any like their previous owner. Alot has changed with the building for the better. Thank god. Revolution youth has always been the cheapest around followed by wintersport. Expect them to remain the same. Genesis which is the ice dogs has always been the most expensive around and still is. The building still needs work and they are still continuing to improve it. Stop complaining already its the elite team that charges through the nose.

Glaciers just returned to the skatezone and the blazers haven’t gone anywhere

Black Bear - bought rink and Phila Rev team and name last March 2019. Rev Youth was not part of the deal, since they were a independent AAHA tier 2 nonprofit program and not rink owned rink (Poole).

BB sold the EHL JR program, and as reward were given AAHA tier 1 status for Elite program (which had lost all levels about birth year 2004 with departure of JS last year) and were granted DVHL access.

Royals LLC secured BCI for next 3 years, since owner of Wintersport wanted out of rink ownership.

BB purchased Royals LLC and as part of purchase control hockey at BCI for next three years (brilliant move)

Meghan ran Rev Youth to destruction and completed what Vince started with his departure from Revolution several years ago!

Under Meghan, coaching declined and many player and families were made promises never kept! Player arrived and committed to Evaluation for teams and coaches that did not exist!

Her only tier 2 AA team (from Old York Rd) had to fold due to coaching issues, leaving players without being able to play anywhere!

Meghan and company destroyed the joy of hockey for many families!

When did Rev get into to DVHL? I know the District granted them T2 status last year, but did the get voted in the DVHL yet?

That's what all of the fuss is about. They don't have to get voted in because the Youth program was dissolved and the remaining members will now be Royals who do have DVHL membership. They will play out of both Ice Gardens and Bucks Ice. They will have over 15 teams by combining Revolution Youth with Royals.

I don’t know what you’re talking about! Meghan has done nothing but pour her heart and soul into that organization. And nothing was run into the ground. She was choosing to leave on her own call to be able to spend more time with her family. Having her as a president was like having a member of my own family running the place. Revolution was invited back to the DVHL last year but she wisely chose to decline which was in the best interest of our club being able to grow in numbers. She succeeded in that as well. This past year there were some unfortunate situations that happened with coaching but none of it was of her doing. In fact she spent countless hours, blood sweat and tears trying to make it right for all those kids. anyone that would dare say she did anything but give her all for our children and that organization doesn’t know what they’re talking about!! This is a sad day for the Revolution families especially the children who don’t understand what’s going on. Threads like this definitely don’t make it any better. Really not sure what the point is of bashing her on this forum but whatever reasons you had I hope you feel better about yourself now. You must have a pretty sad life.
