It's been 2 weeks since their last game and only their second game in over a month and the Knights were back in action on Thursday night.

COLMAR, PA - The  Knights took the ice against the CB West Bucks and their high scoring line of Jake Lang, Chris Trefz and Keith Orlando. Two teams coming into this matchup with two very different streaks. The Knights, 5-0, were looking to continue their streak while the Bucks were fighting to get back into the win column after a mercy-rule loss to Pennridge in conjunction with a tie to Quakertown, after hurling a whopping 62 shots on their netminder.

The game started with both teams trading shots until the 11:07 mark of the first period when North Penn's Ryan Cunningham put the Knights on the board. Cunningham brilliantly skated the puck up ice from his own zone with an inside-out move just inside the offensive zone blue line to fake West's d-men before whipping a top-shelf bar down wrist shot, beating Jake Coddington to take the 1-0 lead. North Penn would carry this lead into the second period.

The second period started physically with West coming out setting the tone with big body checks on North Penn's skaters. The Knights weren't intimidated though. Zack Cline potted the game's 2nd goal at 10:59 off of a pass from Jeromy Porubski who was in front of the net. Porubski took a beating from Coddington and defenseman Danny Poliak, but somehow found a way to get Cline the puck who quickly deposited it into the back of the net. The Greenstein line would strike next with 4:56 left. Josh Kaufhold started it off by attacking the zone with authority. Tony Touzzo picked up the puck from behind the West net and fired a dazzling pass to a wide-open Greenstein, who made no mistake with a quick one-timer. Coddington had no chance. The Knights weren't done yet. Junior forward, Quinn Holt, struck again to put away an unassisted goal with 47 seconds left in the 2nd.  Holt's perseverance and strong pressure forced a turnover at the Bucks blue line, allowing him to dance around 2 West defensemen before firing a shot past Coddington on the long side.

The third frame would see the Bucks get on the board with a late goal from Jake Lang with 3:49 remaining on the clock. The Bucks forced a defensive zone breakdown by the Knights and they would capitalize. Chris Trefz picked up the puck and found a wide-open Lang for an easy opportunity. That would be all of the scoring the Bucks could muster, as Nick Ebbinghaus posted a stellar performance keeping them in check all game, saving 23 of their 24 shots. Junior defenseman, Chase Mueller, stepped up and played a solid game all around. The Knights would pick up another goal to cap off the night by Josh Kaufhold with 2:16 left in the game. Overall, West played a great game, but the Knights were stronger, winning 5-1 against their Continental division foe.
