Glad the two refs are okay and at least from the articles are in good spirits and its not stopping them from learning to officiate.... it its a hard job and only gets harder as the players get bigger and faster.

I'm also so proud to see the entire hockey community rally around not only these two refs but refereeing in general.  Sucks that it had to get to this point, but hopefully some real change happens soon, too many coaches and parents are out of control.

I feel bad for this clown's kid(s)... dad likely going to prison for a few months, dad has either been or will be fired from his job, any rink you go to now you are "that dad's" kid.  I'm guessing his son will be out of the sport soon

Hollydell parents get a bad rep, but honestly the worst experiences I've had have been with Grundy parents.

Add flyers youth to that list… The walls are caving in, and it’s being done from the inside.

How can an organization allow this.. a coach on the bench with children who hasn’t been approved by USA hockey, background checked and no safe sport. To me it show how the organization really feels about the children, their safety and wellbeing wasn’t a concern to them. They knew the entire time he wasn’t certified. You can look on USA hockey’s website and it shows he wasn’t certified

Heard from a parent on the team that there were other situations that occurred throughout the season and was brought to the attention of ML and nothing was done about it
