Please take a moment to read through a few site specific details, (it will help in navigating the website).
Our main objective at YHI is to provide a one of a kind user experience incorporating youth hockey news, various league and team information as well as destination driving directions.
First and foremost is site navigation. We've designed the site to make navigation as easy as possible, please check each point of interest below. All points of interest reference the buttons on the main menu.
* Site Info - Here you will find details which describe how this website functions. It can also be used as a message board to ask for help and guidance at YHI.
* Rink Directory - This is a listing of all rinks from North Carolina up to Northern New York and into New England, (New England is still a work in progress). Each Rink link references the team and city where it is located. When clicked on you will find the most important details about the destination such as address, phone number, website, closest emergency facilities, hotels, restaurants, bars and pubs as well as visitor attractions.
* Teams & Leagues - This lists all of the leagues from Virginia, out to Pittsburgh and up through New England. Like the rink directory, this is ALWAYS a work in progress). You can comment or feel free to post news and info pertinent to your specific interest. Posting can be done as a guest or member but please be aware, guests do not benefit from the wide range of member capabilities which are completely free of charge. Please see "Membership Advantages" here for all of the details.
* General Stuff - This is a message board specific to news and stories, (local, regional and national) which typically make headlines but may or may not be available in your neck of the woods. In which case it will be posted here by site admin, guests or members as they see fit.
* Contact - This is a standard contact form for questions or concerns about the website.
* Requests - It's common for guests or members to visit a website and not find what they're looking for. Or they do find what they're looking for but it may not be accurate or might lack specific details which require attention. Please use the request button to reach out with your concern.
* Search This Site - Not interested in browsing the site or uncertain what you are looking for exists? In the top right corner of the index page is the search function. Enter your search criteria and press enter or hit the search button. If the the search results are empty, you can change your search criteria and get more granular here with "Advanced Search".
* League Icons On Front Page - Click or tap any icon to view league specific information and the teams participating.
