North Penn goes down to Central Bucks East Patriots 6-1

HATFIELD, PA. - What should have been considered a sneak-peek into postseason hockey wound up being a long game of catch-up for the North Penn skaters.

North Penn, playing without its entire first line and senior forward Quinn Holt found themselves fighting to generate offense throughout the entire match. With four of the Knights Varsity regulars scratched, coach Kevin Vaitis and his staff were forced to juggle lines to find something that would work against the CB East top line of Adam Bostock, Phil McIntyre, and Chris Matthews. Adam Bostock was a one-man wrecking crew, as he registered a point, including 2 goals in all but one of the Patriot's 6 goals in the win giving him 10pts through 2 regular-season games.

Knights forward, Nolan O'Toole scored the only goal for the North Penn squad. If not for some spectacular acrobatic saves by goalie, Jon Boyles, the score could've been much different. The Knights will look to get healthy, regroup and come back stronger next week.
