NJYHL Travel this year is nuts
Topic: May 28, 2022, 10:46:15 AM
Just saw the list of teams.  Most of our games are going to be an hour drive.  This stinks

Have no fear Murry will be posting here soon to say his schedules will be out in June.

What club? I know some teams left for AHF. Felt like that would  make less travel. I guess that depends on your location. No drive to Hollydell or the Igloo is a win for me.

Minimal driving to North Jersey for Hollydell and Igloo is fine with us. Going to PA more is easier drive than the roads of North Jersey!

Well, I would say the majority of NJYHL teams are in central and Northern NJ.

Central NJ for someone living in Sewell is 1-1.5 hour drive. North NJ even further. PA is closer and also easier to get to than the hell that NJ is above Trenton!

There is no rule prohibiting you from playing in the dv or ah. If you don't like nj leave.

Leave for where? I work at Rowan and live in Sewell.. Uproot family for hockey? I guess you have the big bucks to move wherever you want, but some of us struggle to give our children a nice life.  Your are an idiot!

Take a look at the AHF median travel times:

15 out of 30 teams have a median travel distance of over 50 miles (so over an hour).
