Totally agree with clarks4!!! It’s a shame that you’re interested in seeing who might ban together and NOT play Team Philadelphia just because there not in Dictatorship DVHL!!!! We are talking about teams of kids, remember youth hockey

So are you saying that it’s perfectly acceptable for a for-profit rink owner/operator to steal and entire program away from a not-for-profit youth association.  I have no problem with Ice Line starting their own program, but the way it happened was not right - and it wasn’t fair to put the kids and the parents in that kind of predicament.  Yes, the kids just want to play, and they want to play with their friends and they should.  Say what you want about LR, RB and the other members of the Quakers leadership, but they deserved better.  JG should have been up front and honest and told them that Ice Line was going to start their own Tier II program and give them sufficient time to find a new place to play.  After supporting Ice Line for so long they deserved better.  Perfectly happy to have another program in the area, but it should not have been at the expense of an existing program.  Quakers have what, 5-6 teams for next year, most of which are older kids.  What happened, and how it happened was BS and you know it.

This here is honest and to a point well stated. What Mr. Graves did is nothing short of extorting an established long standing hockey club as probably the oldest club in the DVHL. John Graves should be ashamed of himself, our club is a major reason why the lights continue to shine at Ice Line. It's no big secret that establishments success was partly because of the Quakers popularity to draw kids in from the surrounding area. Much of the Jr Flyers players started in the Quakers organization. Everything about Ice Line and the Jr. Flyers is mainly because of the Quakers organization. He gave us no other option, we're a prideful club and we chose to go elsewhere because we weren't going to be blackmailed into submitting to Ice Lines demands. Everybody knows the demands hinged on extortion and were so unbelievably unrealistic that it made it impossible for the club to remain under that roof. Tuition would've had to have been raised to Tier 1 levels in order for players to remain with the club and that is unacceptable.

Youth Hockey Info:
The Flyers stuff has already been discussed here Jr Flyers Status? and in a few other topics as well. The idea of this one is more about the impending season and which teams are playing whatever level in each age group.

But that wasn’t what I was saying at all, and how you gathered that from what I did say is outrageous. I understand the heated situation completely. What I was saying is you don’t penalize kids because of it period.
