AHF has taken stronger teams? Please. Look at who is advancing to nationals in Tier 2 out of the dirstricts. Not many AHF teams, if any at all. One team was a super team built to win, that's it.

The Atlantic District just changed the playoff format someone told me today.  Apparently easier now for THF and AHF teams to make the Nationals now.  Anyone able to explain why that is now and the new changes mean?  Thanks!

Unless they need to update their website with the changes you are hearing about, it looks the same as last year where its much easier path for AY, DVHL and NJYHL.

. I believe that Frozen Four format is one change.  One and done.  Not sure anything else.

I realize not all the AHF teams are in the AAHA district but they are teams that are part of the AHF at Nationals. In the District AHF has 6 teams / NJ 2 (lost 1 to AHF) / DVHL 1
