This is the best time of year.  Parents whining about team set up, divisions and tournament's in general.  Just let the kids play in reality the parents throwing the hissy fit are the parents that paid to put these kids on the team.  This world has come to a bunch of cry baby soft individuals.  If not winning parents and kids quit and cry.  If winning they must be playing down.  Who cares none of these kids are getting college scholarships playing in local tournament's if at all honestly.

Anyone going to the chowder cup next week? Will take any food recommendations if you got one.
.
I think that you missed my point about those teams playing in their proper divisions. AA should be playing in AA not A or B. As for AAA, there are tournaments for tier 1 players and teams as well. How are higher levels kids being punished? Play at your appropriate talent level, problem solved. The lower talented kids are ones getting screwed not the higher ones. There has to be a better way. Just because it has been that way forever doesn't make it right.
.  According to many anonymous posters there are zero AAA level players in the area!  LOL!!!!
Its cheap ice and the kids have fun. Why should higher level kids be penalized by not being able to play because everyone else just wants to pretend they play hockey? Its summer crap hockey, everyone knows it, been that way for 10 years at least.

"Pretend they play hockey"- you are an a-hole for this comment. Just another AAA parent thinking their kid is great because they play AAA. AAA kids at Bantam and below are only good because they are bigger and stronger than lower level kids. Do not diminish the lower level kids skill or hockey acumen. I have been around hockey for over 30 years. I love seeing these JO AAA parents freak out once puberty hits and their little Evan is no longer a AAA player because kids that were not as good at 11 years old passed them. AAA parents=losers!
.                                     Wow what a scumbag who is bashing kids and parents anonymously!!!

Spring hockey, regular season hockey, clinics, power skates and privates are all money grabs. Hockey is a business and people need to make money. If your kid loves hockey let them do it all. If not let them play what they want. The issue is not the kids, it is the crazy hockey parents that ruin everything. Stop posting about your kid scoring 7 goals and 7 assist in 5 games at some worthless spring tournament. No one cares! Let you kid have fun and stop putting pressure on them. If a kid is AAA and plays an A tournament, who cares. If you kid is not AAA and plays against that AAA kid and gets beat, tough luck. Players are not always equal and spring hockey is for fun. Stop complaining about that AAA kid. If anything blame the stupid, delusional parent that thinks just because their 10-12 year old plays AAA they will end up getting drafted. Parents can be so dumb, especially Rain Man from 1494's!
.                                 Why are you stalking  parents social media posting about the success of their kids ? That’s odd

"Idiot parents will breed idiot kids! Keep tallying up those g/a/pts from a worthless spring tournament! I am sure the NHL scout is watching. If only your kid was draft eligible at age 10-11. He just might have gotten selected this Friday! Keep counting those toothpicks Rain Man!"

"is that what happened to you and your parents? Were you a crack baby? Did Mommy drop you? Did Daddy touch you in secret places? Is your mom also your Aunt? Apparently you missed the point of his/her post but it's ok, we can find you a high bridge and a short rope."

Idiot parents are on these threads and here are 2 of them. The one you called an idiot surely don't seem to be one of them though. Also using Autism or Autistic reference to try and be a keyboard tough guy is just sad and pathetic nor is telling someone to commit suicide. Seriously, this is youth hockey and all our kids will be in the beer leagues in the future so lets just chill.
.                                      I counted the score of that h08 vs 1494 game. I think it was 20-0

Good for 1494. They beat another team in a worthless spring game by 20. Nothing wrong with running up the score against a team of 10-11 year olds. 1494 must be so proud! Class personified!

20-0 is everything wrong with youth sports. Can't wait for a college coach to ask a 1494 kid if they were part of that famous 20-0 route at Dunlops in 2024. What loser would brag about any score in youth sports? Get a life man.

It’s wrong to have a team that shouldn’t compete in a AAA toury. Way to ruin a kid’s confidence!! Jackoff!!!
