Shocking that another topic (BBTV) turned into a pissing contest on the value of AAA, what teams are "good enough" to play AAA and as usual wraps up with the signature line.... "all roads lead to beer league"
The "all roads lead to beer leagues" is accurate and there is nothing wrong with beer leagues. Many rinks have different levels and some teams go into tournaments all over the country. Our team finished in 3rd in our bracket at a tournament in Vegas a couple yrs back. Between the gambling, drinking and other adult fun(nothing illegal) we played some hockey. Our forward(female) even got drunken married and knocked up by our goalie, they were not a couple at the time. Good times and it all started with youth hockey for us all. Kids are already getting ready, my kids 16U team has players every game playing high, same with his JV scholastic team.
Kids high on the ice seems a bit dangerous and maybe should be reported. Where are the coaches/parents? I'm not 100% against legalizing weed but at 15/16 playing a contact sport, no. If true are you willing to put out there what club this is?

The actual teams, maybe after my son is no longer with them. I will say this, the scholastic team is part of the Central Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League and his travel club is in the AHF. Kids on his scholastic team that were high also play in the DVHL, THF, and AYHL.

I'd think this could be a safe sport issue and all leagues and clubs should address this before someone gets hurt.

This great for BBSG.  Now it allows them to show off their dumps of rinks in a news lens.  I mean why don’t they fix the toilets, clean up the locker rooms, have functioning snack stands or even replace mats.  No they want to show off their master piece rinks with new cameras.  Oh by the way most ice surfaces are terrible as well.  So black bear tv is a great thing coming to these rinks.

I’ve heard there will be no livestreaming allowed in Ahf rinks.  The scuttlebutt is that the league will fine the team of the offender if caught.  It’s not really clear if this rule applies to all rinks in the Ahf whether BB owned or not.  Does anyone have a clear picture of the rules regarding livestreaming?

Instead of launching a streaming service, BB should fix their rinks so sewage is not leaking on the kids in the locker rooms. Skylands was a mess! BB SUCKS!

. The one consistent thing that has been repeatedly said is that they fail to spend money and make their rinks nice which is sad.   You know they see and listen to whatever is said about their rinks yet fail to remedy the same complaints.

Question...

Did BB just negotiate with livebarn to resell their product for a higher price - or was a new and better tech installed in every rink?

Honestly, the only way to stop this BB nonsense is to NOT PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCT.  Sure, if you wanna play hockey in one of their rinks - there are reasons to do that, but also other choices, no doubt... but to overpay for their TV service, when you already had a reasonable offering - just is testament to the greed, and the suckiness of the Gunt.

New Tech, better is TBD.  Our rink has both cameras installed right now.  I assume the LiveBarn camera will be taken down sometime after 9/16
