We’ll see come November when COVID is running rampant through our league and at our kids schools and everything gets shut down again because no one knows who has CoVID or the flu cause no family practitioners want to test anyone with a fever.  Get lost.

Everyone can talk all they want here....but come October there will be no sports.  Have fun stating your opinions but the virus is not going away and the hospitals will be overwhelmed

First off the no scouts are coming to an EJ game to scout your kid. The league is a joke and you end up playing some of the same teams 4 x's in a 20 team division, figure that out. Their format for the upcoming season is to protect themselves from liability. The format is not hockey and unless they are reducing the high fees it seems like a bad idea to join. The league is also structured with showcases which are usually located in New York, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island with teams traveling from distant places. The logistics probably aren't going to work for this coming season, waste of time and money. As for parents not being allowed in, that is fine but the leagues needs to figure out how others can watch remotely. We all like watching our kids and w/ technology it wouldn't be that difficult to do. Maybe Livebarn could actually work and charge a lower fee this season.

Well, I guess we know where the moderator's of this board skate for. Lol. Cowards.

It's pathetic.  Supposedly this site wants feedback on rinks, but I guess we should limit it to "the cafeteria stinks" or "the lockers smell funny".  Meanwhile, we have people who have personally witnessed rinks operating in defiance of the EO, and that's being suppressed.  It doesn't matter if you agree with it, violating the EO creates a liability risk for every club and league participating in that rink, which rolls back down to every one of us paying for our kids to skate there.

This willingness to cover-up and look the other way is everything wrong with hockey culture.  You look at a Chico Adrahtas situation, and wonder how everyone can know what's going on but no one says anything - this is it.  Everyone is willing to let this stuff go on as long as their kid gets theirs.

F***ing pathetic.

Bottom line kids have been playing and practicing hockey all summer.  Summer football camps are going on. No outbreak.

Rinks are taking precautions. Other rinks are running tournaments this coming weekend. Some rinks never stopped operating, but were responsible and took precautions.

It is time to put trust in business owners that they will do the right thing. Treat people like adults and let them take precautions and risks they are comfortable with.

It is clear that based on the circumstances and the known outcomes, the 25 people in a rink is way to conservative for 95% of the population.

If you trust rinks to worry about anything except their bottomline you're an absolute chump.

It is clear that based on the circumstances and the known outcomes, the 25 people in a rink is way to conservative for 95% of the population.

Again, whether we agree with the 25 person limit isn't the point.  Until it's changed, any rink going rogue is setting us up to have the season cancelled before it even starts.

And while I'm sure this will be censored out in no time, I see 11 spectators standing along the glass here last weekend.  A great example of the JG and the business owners doing the right thing.
