What’s the AA teams for 13uaa and higher teams.  I have seen a lot of posted of teams looking for players.  Seems like AAA and THF have sucked a lot of older kids in or they are over all the BS these clubs throw at them.

Hollydell took a lot of THF AAA kids and promised them a spot on PHC. Then cut them from PHC and convinced them to join Hurricanes AA. This happened at both 13U and 14U. Remember 2012 birth year is light in ice hockey, so players are limited. Also a bunch of AA kids from FY left for AAA & Igloo. I heard Igloo rostered 18 skaters and 2 goalies at 13UAA. That is a disaster waiting to happen. Other THF rinks lost players who dropped down to AA but not enough to counter the amount of kids that quit. 13U is the age kids start leaving ice hockey for other sports. It also does not help that AHF AA is now pure teams at all levels and not mixed teams. This hurt the numbers as well. There are not enough players to go pure ages at Tier 2 AA. It makes all the levels watered down. THF (except for top 4-5 teams) is basically AA. AYHL (except for top 5 teams) is basically AA, which makes pure AA in AHF (except for top 4-5 teams) A level. You can see where I am going with this. Everything is watered down due to AHF & THF. It is good for rink owners but bad for the kids!

You are exactly right. AAA is 3-4 AAA Teams, AA is 4-5 AA and the rest are A National at best. I wish the rinks would look at their talent levels realistically and bypass pure AA.
