I am not gonna get into Team Philly with you. You obviously have a high opinion of those players so just leave it at that. 9-10 players on Flyers from just 2 teams. Seems reasonable! I am sure they took the best players. Are you getting my sarcasm?

That's bullshit. I was watching them. Several of them looked like they weren't even trying and it was very obvious.  I was watching closely, knowing they had the political vote.

Totally not true. There were 5 Jf and 4 PHC that made Flyers team. There were kids from LF, Rockets, MM, PBK, Scranton also on team. If anything it was the non JF and PHC kids that shouldn’t have made team. None of the JF and PHC kids that were selected shouldn’t have been. The Phantoms team has a ton of AA kids on it including the Team Philly kid who you were referring to above and who BTW used to play at JF but now plays TP not because he wasn’t good enough but for personal reasons.

There are definitely too many AAA teams but rinks refuse shutter struggling AAA programs or create new ways of training and participation (anyone remember Philadelphia Independence?).

Seems we have a JRF cheerleader here. Especially for the AA kid who left AAA for "personal reasons". Who care about Phantoms. They are not going to Quebec.  Coaching favorites were chosen and but they had to pick some non-favorites to make it look good. If JRF & PHC had their way they just would have combined the two teams, but that is too obvious.  I know multiple players both boys and girls that did not try out for Quebec that are as good if not better than half the kids chosen. Girls were going to join AGHF team, but they did not get a bid and boys did not want to try out because of cost and they knew AAHA would not chose them regardless of how good they are. Process is BS! AAHA is in bed with PHC & JRF!

Ha! The hate, I mean jealousy, of PHC and JF 2012 is real! Taking the Colonials and Rockets out of mix since they were mostly trying out for Devils, what team could touch PHC or JF last year in AY??? Little Flyers? They went 2-7-1 against PHC and JF. The truth is both teams have been the best teams with the best players the last couple of years. Hats off to Shayne, (Franzone at Rockets), and Zajac (I would love for my kid to play at Colonials but…). They’ve done amazing jobs and I sincerely believe that those two teams will be tops in AY NEXT season. People always claim that there are better players  on other teams. Who? The kid at Flyers Elite? Maybe. What 2012 girl is better than the PHC and JF kids that made it onto Flyers?? Is the AAHA full of politics? Sure. If anyone watched Day 2 of tryouts you had to be convinced that the deck was stacked against some deserving kids who didn’t get a fair shot. But the PHC and JF kids that got picked earned it… Which ones weren’t giving good effort? Which one shouldn’t have been selected?? Stop hating PHC and JF. Go tryout for them. If I thought my kid could make either team I’d drive the hour+. Meanwhile Congrats to all the kids, from every team, that made it to Quebec.

Best 2012 girls did not attend tryouts because of AGHF girls team. They did not get bid this year. Probaly 3 girls could have made team. 2 Girls that played last year on  AGHF team. Also not sure, but I think there is a really good girl at Flyers Elite that played aganist 2011 last year. I think that kid at Flyers Elite would have made team on talent but no way TB allows that since he hates his dad. Time will tell if the team is good. I wih them luck!

No way any girl would make team. Girls mentioned are good but not top 4 or 5 best players on their teams. Kid at Flyers Elite is good and had shot at bottom roster spot. I think AAHA got it 90% right. Maybe other kids could have made bottom of roster, but that always happens. Love how people complain!

Let it go. Your kid did'nt make Flyers/Devils Quebec team. There's  still Heshey and AHF tryouts!
