Let’s not lose sight that this all started because someone from flyers elite wrote and admitted to calling another rink to not take a child in their program. A grown adult trying to black ball a child because of the opinion of their father. just because someone on the internet said it . it must be true .seriously this thread has been about nothing more than trolling , and people are feeding into it

More trying to deflect the issue that caused this. Again, nothing like using the internet to “troll”. These trolls are clearly close to the situation but have hid behind the keyboard.

Going through this all - it literally seems to have stemmed from that comment of a person calling a rink to black list a kid lol

SO THIS IS WHY YOUTH SPORTS ARE SO TOXIC.

No one tried to blacklist anyone. FE Management told friends at other rinks that the kid was a very good player but be careful of the father and set ground rules with him if you take his kid on your team. That is it.

I think the issue with that 2013/14 team is expectations from certain people. That team was a mixed team with 6 2013, 6 2014 and 2 2015 players. It was supposed to play an independent AA/AAA schedule but BB put the team in the THF. It was a transition team to get all players ready for pure age teams for this coming season. The goals of the team were outlined at the opening team meeting. Play everyone, winning does not matter/but we want to be competitive, and it is all about next season/development. I guess Sal and his "go play A/AA if you want guaranteed playing time" missed that meeting. Things fell apart in late January. It was not just KD/MR fault, but FE Management, Parents who stayed and Parents who quit fault as well. Everyone is to blame for what happened. It was an odd mix of people that were never going to get along. Sal never should have come to FE- he should have gone to LF. Sal hated JP & CO so why put your kid on a team that had CO as an assistant and JP who was hired as skating/development coach by FE? He should have just moved on.  Everyone who left are happy and everyone who stayed are happy. FE is what it is, a low to mid-AAA program (depending on age) that will have pure age teams for 2024/25. Most kids taken from other rinks were AA players or A players who played up an age. Some AAA kids made the jump as well due to being cut or just leaving their old rink.  The talent is average to above average with a handful of very good players, which is fine for what FE is trying to build. PHC, LF, Jr Flyers and other AAA programs focus on winning. That is fine too. I think everyone needs to just end this and stop bashing each other. Agree to disagree, act like adults and go your separate ways. Sal if you are upset by comments on here, I think you got your monies worth in your posts. Everyone at FE, you got your monies worth as well. Just end this now. No one looks good from these 9-10 pages of posts. Everyone just looks petty and thinned skin.

So was it FE management that made the original comment on this thread? FE management barely speak to their own customers let alone other programs. Come on now. "FE Management" was our eldest coach 2 years ago, why do you think we all left at that time? This is what I am saying FE had Slava as Skating Coach and now try to plug a random dude in that slot. Things just don't add up there anymore and by these posts you can tell it is almost charter pulling time.

There is playing time issues for every team . If you are worried about development. Don’t have your kid play on a AAA team when they are nowhere near that  level yet. Put them on an A,AA team to save the headache

Yes we know what top of thread says. I think 11+ pages of this BS is enough. Everyone needs to move on as the parties in question have gone their separate ways. I don't have a dog in this fight, I am just tired of this crap. Someone needs to grow up and stop posting!
