Why shouldn’t clubs and rinks that are putting us at risk of being shut down be outed?

REALLY? DON'T ANSWER THIS ASSHOLE!

Relax, no amount of clinics and camps with 40 kids on the ice are going to get your little bender off the third line.

GO TO USPHL, not USA Hockey, they can do what they want! Private ice rental, not controlled by the rink!

Why do you want the rinks closed?
If clubs and rinks don’t follow the rules the state will close the rinks.
If they want to stay open they should follow the rules.

Here are the guidelines for PA youth sports.

COVID-19 Guidance for Sports

Clearly says
--players MUST maintain social distancing on benches and on ice
-- coaches MUST wear masks
-- no more than 25 for any game or practice including adults
-- clubs must make public how they will handle covid cases among players, coaches and parents and let the rest of the community know about it

Any game with kids piling on each other on benches, any practice with coaches not enforcing distancing, any rink or club that doesn't have its policy for handling positive cases made public, any game or practice with more than 25 people, all can be reported to law enforcement and Department of Health. Rinks will get shut down.

Follow the rules or go play golf. And if all your coaches have underlying conditions which don't allow them to wear a mask, go find other coaches. It's ridiculous the bunch of whiners crying how it's too hard to play hockey now. People with brains and who really love the game will figure out ways to follow the rules and not let this get in the way of getting kids on the ice.

Perfectly stated. I hope people will start to name and shame. Maybe some of these rinks that are ignoring rules (looking at you central PA and WC) will change course. Without self policing the state is just going to lump us all together and shutter ALL the rinks again.  Let’s make sure the kids can play. Even if they don’t have a normal league at least they can get on the ice and play.
I’m not at all of a concern for the DVHL justifying its own existence. I am more interested in my kid being able to play a game she loves.
Kids shouldn’t have to miss out because adults can’t make responsible decisions.
(Please note: This isn’t a time to dispute the over reach of power or if the virus is real. This is the time to make an EASY ADULT DECISION to follow rules so kids can play a game.)

Great comment. Put the kids ahead of your foolishness and wear a mask.

Well this is a huge distinction....is it 25% of capacity or 25 total people?  You must admit that logically why would 25 people be allowed in a broom closet apartment but also only 25 people in a giant 30,000 sq. ft. rink?  25% of capacity make much more sense when you think about this example, correct?

The rule is extremely clear. 25 people or 25% of capacity whichever is less. It doesn’t need to make sense. If you want the kids to play, follow the rules.
