I’m not in love with some of what black bear has done, but please explain what you are talking about. By no account have I seen black bear do anything to hurt any player or family.

do you really think the guy handing out skate rentals has any clue what Black Bear is planning on doing or their behind the scenes plan to rule youth hockey in the NE US?

I have to say this is a very creative way to make sure you sell ice.  All of these guys are rink owners or should I say 4 guys own 4 rinks and 1 company owns the rest.  They will be able to makes sure their rinks are being used and can control the cost.  They can also get away from the EJ which has terrible scheduling and is a huge money grab.  The people who run the EJ try to low ball rinks for ice time and then make a ton of money off the hotels. At least with this league they are really only looking to sell ice in their buildings.  Maybe things will change if they get larger but for now it looks like a good thing for the rink owners

How long before AAHA district has to make AHF, AGHF & THF sanctioned leagues? How long before AYHL/THF, MAWHA/AGHF and AHF/NYHL/DVHL merge. AAHA is losing the battle with BB. BB has all their teams/leagues USA Hockey sanctioned and AAHA is blocking them from district sanctioned status. BB has too many rinks in their leagues, with more coming every year. AAHA is losing this battle. AAHA put 2 year ban new Tier 1 teams as an assault on BB owned Tier 1 teams. Strap in for a fun battle!
