How far do you travel to your rink?

A few years ago we use to travel 2 and a half hours for good hockey because where we live there isn't much.  The last two seasons we travel around 1 and a half hours.  I have learned that even though the hockey team can be successful on the ice other factors matter more.  Good teammates and positive reinforcement matter more than the record on myhockeyrankings.

Agree 100%. Too many teams have bad parents (who's kids are bad too). By bad I means attitude, coachability, friendliness, and character. 1-2 bad parents/kids can ruin a team. I would rather have a losing record, have my kid learn the game, get coached correctly, learn respect and be disciplined rather than win!
