BBSG allows the Board an outsized level of control, and people are well aware of it. Under SC, Board members were permitted to place their children on teams they didn’t otherwise belong on. The Board continues to have its hand in nearly every area it can influence. Although I’ve heard the new director is solid, I’m told that much of the communication still comes from Board members—even for non-Ducks programs—and we all know how that typically plays out.

As long as the board members are there they will continue to put their child on a the highest level team for their age group.  I hear great things about the director.  But the board clearly has say in what team their child is on.

Well the Blue Hens are right down the street. So that's an option.

Stay away from the ducks.  They place players just to place them.  You have b kids on aa teams since parents are on the board.  Save your money and go across the tracks to blue hens or up to iceline.  Ducks are a disaster.

the ducks actually seem to have a solid organization and new hot shot hockey director upon digging a bit.  their teams look to be pretty competitive from myhockey ratings.   huh interesting - not that familar with them as delaware is a bit far.

Delaware is funny, what the hell is a blue hen?  For shits and giggles I compared the hen vs the duck on myhockey.  The duck is obviously the clear winner by far according to the ratings at each age level

Well honestly both orgs are  weak compared in the world of mhr.  Delaware hockey is not strong at all. Many more places have better development.  Don’t forgot the nighthawk as well.

Well Dam: the majority of tier II clubs from surrounding states to delaware do NOT have higher rankings than that duck club for many age groups. Interesting

Best of best Delaware players can get to Iceline or Iceworks so you see a lot of leftovers in developmental or low level talent on WN DD JBH.

If you kept in state talent and stacked the best on one team per age you'd have decent teams.

Personally know kids on Delco CC Team Philly

WN has trouble fielding teams and best teams came from elsewhere
JBH plays mostly B or low A
Ducks are probably best collection of teams and have best facility but literally have not 16+ teams

We will see if or when the Raptors ever come back
