SHSHL Varsity - Alex Howieson Scores Lacrosse Goal
Youth Hockey Info:
Similar to the Carolina Hurricanes Svechnikov goal, Alex Howieson #82 of the SHSHL Hatboro Horsham Hatters Varsity Ice Hockey team whips one in from behind the net against the Truman Tigers. Howieson sets up behind the Hatters net and takes it from there.

A kid on my son's team tried it recently and barely got the puck in the air then lost possession. Coach flipped out and called him off the ice immediately.

It's not exactly a simple move and isn't something "most" players can pull off. It definitely isn't a fad.

hmm, stick, puck, skates, goalie, net, ice. Sure looks like hockey to me. Creative way to get the the little black thing in from behind the net. You're right though, he should have passed it out front and hoped for a one timer or deflection, now that would have been some old time hockey right there.
