saw on FB that the Quakers are looking for goalies for their top squirt and PW teams.  I think in the DVHL they're the only age groups that have had evals at this point, right?  I know my son's club has try outs for his 16U in May.

Did I see Little Flyers holding extra Squirt tryouts?  Not sure if numbers issue, but for anyone looking for a home.  Anyone know anything?  Lot of competition in that area, not huge population (South Jersey)

Absolute #'s issue. There are way too many options at Tier 1 in the area and across the board numbers are low. American teams can call themselves what they want but they aren't Tier 1. The teams know they are going to stink so they are just looking for another saps check to clear. There are Squirt level teams that have 10 kids at tryouts. Unfortunately this is a money business. U10 kids have the most long term value. If you dont field a team now you may lose that revenue forever. Slippery slope. The district needs to address. While there is high end talent in the Atlantic District I can't imagine this is the best way for it to be run.

All Mite, SQ, PW evals in the DVHL start next week. The Quakers have not had any evals yet. Ban abd Midget tryouts start in May and is an actual tryout this year not an eval

South Jersey feels oversaturated, particularly at Squirt level - Flyers Elite, Little Flyers, PHC, etc - not sure enough bodies to fill all those slots

I guess they know from pre-registration that they already need those positions.

That's a disaster.  They don't have enough for both teams.  Trying to get the kids that were cut to come over.

District needs to do the right thing and look at South NJ / Philly area -- there are not enough bodies to fill these Tier 1 slots, Glenn needs to do the right thing.  All of Illinois has 5 AAA clubs, we have that in SJ/Philly alone.

Little Flyers since 1969! The original and still best! Don't be fooled by imposters Junior Flyers and Comcast/Virtua/Flyers Elite! Little Flyers should have never allowed their franchise to be diluted that way!
