Wait, the DVHL still exists? Every team will eventual join AHF. AHF has most of the teams and they killed NJ & DV! Only team not allowed to join AHF is FY. One ML is gone AHF will allow them in. ML might be gone at end of year anyway since FY is losing all their "talent" to other rinks anyway.

There are 18 teams in the DVHL. There are actually more PA teams in that league vs the AHF

The DVHL is a pretty healthy league.  They have 7-8 teams per division and play each other 2-3 times.  And they can boast some of the nicest / coolest rinks in the area.  It is a lot like the old times.  Nothing like the monstrosity that the AHF has built. We do miss out on ALL STAR games and Holiday weekends at the Jersey Shore for $500 a night hotel stays....

I would expect that this could hurt VFC. The rink puts zero effort into building the program. The building itself is falling apart. There are also a lot of former Royals that drive to NE Philly. Genesis has always had a strong program but the DVHL hurt them a bit. Now I would expect them to be very competitive in the AHF.

AHF is a powder keg. Non BB clubs will all be leaving soon. I could see a new district league forming in the future.
