Idiots?
Every club signs a 1 year agreement. Many non BB clubs are looking to leave.
Really? Many non-BB clubs looking to leave? Like who? Name the clubs looking to leave. Tell me who told you this? I think you are full of sh*t!
AHF is a far superior league to DV & NJ. That is why the clubs left in the first place. AHF balances the schedule as best they can, reduce the number of non-league games needed for scheduling, has all-star games, playoffs for all teams 12U & under, has teams play showcases which reduce looking for tournaments and most importantly give teams better competition to play against. This is why teams are joining. 5 of the 14 teams at DV AA are in PA and Genesis has 2 AA teams. Go down the younger ages and you will see less than 10 teams at almost every age. AHF also has multiple non-BB rinks that sit on the Board of Directors & Competition Committee, with the 3 most important being Ice Line, Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Hollydell. BB has won. Get over it. They organized the non-BB rinks and gave them a say in the league, something the NJ & DV only did after everyone left. The real questions should be when will PHC & JrF join the THF. There is just as good if not better competition in the THF than AYHL. If you look at the rankings in District it is evenly split at every age. Put in CT, NY and Maryland teams for AAA and THF is better than AYHL. AYHL teams would have a tough time winning THF at all but 12U level due to better competition. Now don;t count the fake AAA teams at some ages in this because the higher ranked THF teams do not play the lower ranked teams.
AHF is far superior to DV and NJ and any other league the non AHF have to join. THF is arguably better than AYHL at top level, but arguments could be made they are equal at top level. B
