That's the DVHL tuition for what now without Genesis...15 games?  You still have to do a bunch of tournaments or EJEPL (which is some of the same DVHL teams anyway).  Lancaster players get 35-40 games for their price and Palmyra 45-50.  CPP isn't cheap.  They just don't advertise the full price.

If you want to go to CPP to get curbstomped by an AHF team in districts anyway, go for it.

"I don't mind seeing this the first time.  It  WAS funny and cute."

I know like when the goalie trucked that little punk, he probably deserved it for drinking his water at practice or when the one kicked the other kid or when the goalie used his blocker to punch kids in the face and that dive into the pile, wow awesome. It was GREAT, I laughed my ass off. NO, it was NOT funny, it was irresponsible by all involved. They should absolutely get punished. My guess is people who that thought it was funny or cute never saw a kid get cut by a blade requiring multiple stitches or had a kid get a concussion even with protective gear on. Our mite players were already saying how they want to do that in their next game. We did as much talking to them about what they saw was wrong and dangerous and against the rules as we actually practiced. I think this weekend maybe a mess because these are young kids that want follow what they saw. It's not an overreaction; you MUST set the precedent NOW and not wait for the next time.

I've had teams participate in Mites on Ice at NHL and AHL games and they always had the ice crew/team out there to keep the game moving. Where were they? If this was staged was Hershey in on it? If staged who would have thought that 5-8yr olds would get out of hand, anyone with half a brain that's who.

Like the post above with those prices the club will be fine if by suspending the team for the remainder of the season, people won't and it appears by the other post they are growing.
CPP needs to change their logo from a Panther to a Clown because that is what they seem to be.

To start with the prices posted on this thread is not for this year. Palmyra at my kids age this year was $3300 and at the Panthers with EJ added its $2300. Looking at myhockey the Panthers at my kids age will probably play 45-50 games. Also let's not act like getting 2 defender tournaments is a flex. Playing a bunch of the same teams 3-4 times during a season like in the AHF is no different than playing for the Panthers in the MAHA and adding the EJ. From my time at CPP before moving on they are good at raising money to cover tournaments. 2-3 tournaments cost me $100-150 out of pocket, if that's the same it would be $24-2450 compared to $3300 at Palmyra. Add the fact Palmyra is 45 min from Lancaster why would that be an option. Somebody with that comment thought they had an empty netter but hit the post instead. Palmyra isn't the cream of the crop either when it comes to their myhockey rankings.

The mites are the only team with an issue with aggression and acting stupidly during games. Seems like a club problem.  Side note pbk and firebirds are have their down falls as well.

If CPP is so great, why did you decide to move on? What about the Firebirds if distance is the problem?

ending the mite season a couple months early because of this won't send people to another rink. the reason they go there is because it is the cheapest organization around.
6u / 8u (2017 and younger) $800   Palmyra $1175           Firebirds $975-1990
10u (2015 and 2016) $ 1500            $2300-2600              $2350-2460
12u (2013 and 2014) $ 1600            $2550-2750              $2490-2610
14u (2011 and 2012) $ 1850            $2675-2875              $2570-2700
16u (2009 and 2010) $ 1950            $2995-3195              $2730-2860
18u (2007 and 2008) $ 1950            $2995-3195              $2440-2860
With Genesis going to the AHF it makes districts and nationals easier as well.

How the hell does it make Nationals and districts easier? You still have to play the AHF teams just to get through qualifiers. They don't have a team remotely good enough to even get to dvhl playoffs

I'd agree with you that it wouldn't make getting to Nationals any easier. Yes, without Genesis I'd agree with the other post, it will make it easier for clubs in the DVHL to make it to districts.
So, you are saying every team out of the AAHA that went to Nationals came from the AHF since their arrival? I don't think that is the case. Just out of curiosity how did the AHF teams out of the AAHA do at Nationals? How many won it all?

"If CPP is so great, why did you decide to move on? What about the Firebirds if distance is the problem?""

I have 2 kids in hockey. Both did learn to play and in house leagues before going to travel. 1 kid made friends that mostly went to the Firebirds so that's where he wanted to go. The other kid made friends that mostly went to CPP so that's where he wanted to go. 1 is a freshman playing club hockey in college and the other is playing 14U AAA and that's why we moved on. We had a kid in each league at the same time so comparing the 2 is easy.

Back on topic of the Mites on Ice. Knowing people at that rink, I'm not that surprised they'd stage something like that. With that said coaches and parents should be penalized in some way. The kids got out of hand but that really shouldn't shock anyone, they are 5-8yr olds.

In its current format, no dvhl team has qualified for nationals. Also, there is a big difference between districts and district qualifiers

In the current format of 2 AHF teams and 2 DVHL teams in district qualifiers, no dvhl team has qualified for nationals. Also, there is a huge difference between districts and district qualifiers
