2025-26 Movement
Topic: December 15, 2025, 03:06:25 PM
It is getting to be that time of year again. Once Christmas is over, people start looking toward next season. Rumor is significant movement at Bantam and PW for next season. Anyone heard the same? Any specifics?

Teams are picked before tryouts. Get a clue!

You club jump once...then it doesn't turn out all peaches and roses.....

So you club jump twice.....now your players is on 3 teams in 3 years....

And you are a CLUB JUMPER!

No club jumper here. Been at same rink since my kid was a 7, now 13. Heard rumors of major movement and people not happy at some AAA rinks. I really don't care about Tier 2 rink jumping as it does not affect my kid!

Heard Mercer Chiefs AAA is the hot rink. Lots of new kids trying out for 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012 teams. Any truth?

The best strategy is to plant your flag at your local rink and make it the best possible experience for everyone.

The farther you stray from that plan, the worse you will be.

Whether your kid is on AAA...AA.....B...REC....it doesn't matter.

What if your local rink’s hockey director ran off to play in a glorified men’s league 2 weeks before tryouts and didn’t solidify anything for the organization before he left?  Can we apply for political asylum?

Who cares if kids change teams. All but PHC, LF and JrF will all be low AAA teams. Skating is most important. Just saw a video that USPHL teams have players from 54 different Tier 1 programs and kids from 20 non Tier 1 programs. Stop chasing wins below 15u. Development is key.
