these sound like comments from the ex-FE coach...Mercer took 3 kids (one being ex-FE coach's kid) that multiple rinks either didn't want or cut due to parental problems ie delusional about their kid's "talent"

Just keep on moving easiest was to the show.  Flyer elite and Mercer had huge showing.  Phc and little flyers same old nothing new rolling into those toxic places.

Told PHC lost good players 10U, 11U & 12U. Forced to take less talented players at these ages. Heard same thing will happen with 13U team. Is 14 U team safe? I am told since TB is taking over 13U/14U teams, players and parents want out. Is PHC losing it's "Best AAA Org in District" status? Are parents finally wising up? We shall see if this is true once rosters posted. As for Mercer I am told they got a little better with 2 new kids and took a step back with 1 new kid. Do not have contacts at younger ages, so can't comment on FE.  Can't wait to see what happens at 13U and older tryouts from these rinks!

Pretty simple this year, the strong got stronger and the weak got weaker. The “supplemental tryout” posts should be up by tomorrow.

Interesting take. Heard the opposite- PHC is weaker at all ages, LF/JRF about same, Mercer got minimally better at all ages, Rev got better at 2014, FE vastly improved at all ages, especially 2014 (players and coaches). It is interesting only rink running “supplemental tryout” posts is Rev- looking for 1 player each at 2017/2015. I guess your intel was faulty!

All of these "got better" "got worse" comments assume that youth hockey players live in a caste system and aren't able to improve / develop. This forum is dumb.

No one said kids can't improve/develop. You go off information you have and since season/playoffs ended 2 weeks ago, I think we can get a pretty good read on who improved. Also, in the past teams like Mercer, Rev & FE took low AA/A players to fill out roster. I am told all 3 rinks talent levels are either legit AAA/high AA players. So unlike years past these 3 rinks have already improved their rosters on day 1. Teams can improve fast when you are not trying to make an A level player skate, shoot and react faster like AAA players. So I disagree this forum is dumb. I think you are dumb!

Wise up to what?

Wise up to the fact that PHC is not what they expected- toxic and overrated are the word used most often by parents and players. PHC had very high ranked teams at 9u thru 12u this past year. Yes they lured top talent to their rink in the past, but this year rumors are a lot of talent left. The question asked: "Is PHC losing it's "Best AAA Org in District" status?" I do not know the answer to that question. This is the first year in a while that other rink's teams think they closed the gap. We shall see if this is true in the fall.

PHC 2014 returns 14 of 17 from last year. Rumors of massive departures were greatly exaggerated! Still the team to beat!

PHC struggled against Avs and will continue.  Just wait till the up and coming tier 2 and old the older tier1.  Sounds like the almighty phc temple is crumbling and other teams are building.
