T2 Tryouts

Wondering which SEPA club will benefit most from the influx of Wild kids? Are the majority going for Team Philly or looking for smaller DVHL clubs?

My guess is that wild kids likely try out at Team Philly.  If it looks like they aren't making the team they want, they'd look toward clubs DVHL clubs like Huntsman, Quakers, and Delco.  If they want to go into AHF, you may see some movement to Delaware Ducks or Haverford.

A lot of wild kids did attend team phl tryouts.  Many will make teams.  Those that don’t want to stay or  what to go else where,  I would say ccsc, nighthawks, delco, or even genesis.  No one is going to the ducks there problem is not what it used to be people and will make the right decision and stay far away from that org. Plenty of higher developing places around than there.

How many parents pissed off their child did not make that aa team.  What’s it looking like who will be the tops in the AHF or dvhl for 13u-18u? Any ideas.

TP will always get the most talent, with so many kids trying out—especially those not wanting the AAA price tag. Here is some insight on TPAA for next season as tryouts finished.

13AA TP- was able to add some Campus Wild kids who are solid players.

14UAA TP – No report yet.

15UAA TP – Coming off a Nationals run that fell short, they were able to upgrade and add talent. They will be a very solid team again this season, with 9–10 skilled forwards who all played Tier 1 (JRF, MM, PHC, TI, PBK, LF).

16UAA TP – Gained a few Tier 1 forwards who dropped to AA , which will help an already talented forward group. Strong goaltending as well.

18UAA TP – Another team that made a deep Nationals run. They will be very strong again and have upgraded in a few areas, strong goalies.

Lancaster is still looking for a few more players to fill out teams at 14U, 16U, and 18U if anyone is looking for a team.

To be honest if you are not on at an Academy/Prep school after 14U Tier 1, you should really drop down. Maybe if you are on a high level team you stay at Tier 1. Waste of money on tier 1 if you might play club at best in college.
