Agree about FE and BB doing a poor job of recruiting. They need to run in season clinicd and pewer skates and not just private lesons. FE has great coaches, lots of ice time and improving facilities, but very few people know this. They have openings next season on AAA teams for 2011 thru 2015. People need to know this!

USA Hockey has rules against this, that's why. Running clinics, idskates, etc. for players who are not in the club during the season would make the kids ineligible to play for you.

Many of the FE kids still there are jumping ship next year anyway, good coaches along with them. Younger groups are filling in with Squirt A players and will call it development. It is a shame for those thinking about heading over to FE. Grass is only greener where you water it, and that program needs some miracle grow.

Let your kids stay in there home rink and stop worrying about what's going to happen 2 years from now when the reality is 5 years from now it won't matter at all where they played Youth Hockey except families will have spent a lot more money and a lot more hours in the car than they needed to. Stop chasing and have fun.
