CPP have been aggressive with getting players the last couple years.  they really reduced fees to help bring players in from other areas.
I would say that PBK is the big one with pulling players from York.     the fact that they have a T1 AAA team is enough to tempt parents to move there kids.

talk for York is to move 2nd year 16U players up to form a 18U team.  one more tryout tomorrow then i guess decisions will be made.

CCP was always cheaper than everyone else, even before BB and the AHF. It amazes me that a so-so rink with 1 sheet can offer the amount of ice time for practices for all their teams and steal away from others, be cheaper and still turn a profit and not close. Maybe other more expensive rinks should follow their plan and people wouldn't leave. Isn't York and twin ponds run by PBK? So, PBK would be stealing from themselves in a sense.

Lancaster is having trouble at 16U.  It looks like we’ll have two 18U teams, but the 16U team got gutted this year.  We need half a team and a solid goalie.  If your kid is 16U, check out Lancaster on Monday night.
