Come on you all know these pre bantam AAA kids are going straight to the show. The ego I see at our rink is amazing. The other yr the 12AAA team said they could easily handle our 18A team. Granted we weren't the best, but still a strong playoff team. Our coach accepted the challenge, reminding them they are playing up, we weren't playing down. The organization wouldn't allow it. Their team was told to shut the * up because our team would not only beat them but put on a hurting as well. They went from walking around like they owned the place to a dog with its tail tucked between its legs. Last year it was the arrogance of the 8UAAA parents that almost led to multiple fights at the rink. Why would parents talk down on your own clubs 8 & 10U tier2 teams, makes no sense.

You actually cared that a 12U team said they could beat your 18U team? Geez, if I heard that I would probably laugh and shrug it off, but whatever.

This sounds like a South Jersey rink. Hollydell?

It was the cockiness of the parents and coach of the 12AAA team that got the 18u coach to accept their challenge. You can't expect to talk sh*t without being called out. It was going on for a few weeks before the coach said ok, let's play.

"This sounds like a South Jersey rink. Hollydell?" No, we also have our fair share of a-holes in PA. I won't say what rink because my youngest is still there. So, with that said here are 2 clues, 1- we have a pub 2- our colors are orange and black. Alcohol was involved, I know alcohol and youth hockey, shocker. The 8u and 10u team was on the sheet that had the pub view and the 8AAA practice was on another sheet. Couple of the 8AAA dads would always get a table along the window and down drinks like there's no tomorrow. They'd turn into bigger asses then they already were and start laughing at the kids that would fall, miss a pass or open net. Finally, some of the other parents got tired of it. Other parents had to separate them more than once.

I still find it insane that the MM2011 team is nonexistent, is there a AA team that benefited from that now that tryouts are over? VFC?

3 rinks come to mind that have a pub with those colors- Delco, Ice Line and Lehigh. I have seen a-holes at games for all 3 so none would be that surprising.

VFC AA is not benefiting from the disbanding of the MM11 team. ZERO players stayed at the rink. I've heard that many went to Little Flyers and TP11AA.

Little Flyers only received 1 kid from MM. I am pretty sure 3-4 MM kids went to TP 14AA also 3-4 JrF & 1-2PHC 1-2PBK players. Team P will be a legitimate AA team if that is all true.

Thank goodness my rink does not have a pub.  It always annoyed me that there was none, but looking back...it was lucky.

Zero MM11 kids made the JRF11 team. TP was a very good AA team last year. They did lose at least 2 players (JRF and Lil Flyers).
