Zero MM kids went to tryouts for 2011 JRF. Team P was a very good team last year that won the AHF 13UAA, they replaced the 2 top players they lost when they added 10 AAA kids to Team P 14AA.

Delco and LV don’t have 12uAAA. And it’s not JR Flyers… I can guarantee.

I wonder if TP could put 2 14AA 2011 teams on the ice this year. I bet both teams would finish top 20% of the league.

The post said the 12AAA thing was the other yr. Is that 2yrs,3yrs,4rs? Also, the Little Flyers play out of Aston/Iceworks/Delco. Delco is just how I refer to the rink, kind of like Lehigh instead of the Steel Ice Center. I'm not looking at the rinks AAA teams to see who did and didn't have 12AAA the "other" yr since we don't know what the other year is. They are just the 3 that I thought of based on Pub and colors. Maybe there are others, Pa is a pretty big state with lots of teams and rinks. The post also gave the pub and colors for the 8AAA incident that occurred last yr, that doesn't mean the 12AAA was at the rink/club, people move.

Team Philly is a very impressive organization.  Mad respect.  I can't even hate them.

Letters don’t matter much for development, people should research the coaches… many of these places claim all this development and when you are there, it’s a joke…. Plenty of great coaches at all tiers. Do your research. Many of these places just use parents as banks. Find the right place and watch out for the those parents who BS coaches on how great their kids are. Happy hunting during this terrible time of the year.

"He also had a blast with 8 kids that he has been playing since mites and has formed great friendships that will last a lifetime. Stop hating on AAA. I say to each their own. There is no perfect path in any sport. Parents do what is best for their kids. And the extra A means nothing to my family. I don't even tell people my kid plays AAA, I just say he play ice hockey."

So tier2 kids aren't having the same experience making lifetime friendships? The core of my kids' team has been together 7yrs, guess they hate each other though because only AAA kids form those kinds of friendships. I guess that means no more sleepovers, ski trips, beach houses and cruises with half the team. And nobody buys that you don't say AAA. I'm so glad I found this page because I love the Eastern PA/NJ parents on here; they crack me up.

No one said Tier 2 kids are having as much fun at Tier 1 kids. The point I was making is to each their own. Yes there are parents that brag their kid is AAA. I don't do this. My kid left AAA mite for 2 years at AA and then went back to AAA. His entire team did the same. Just let the kids have fun and enjoy ice hockey no matter what level they play. I never played hockey so I am not living thru my kid. I am letting him choose his own path. You should do the same with your kid and not judge other people. "He that is without sin among you, let him be the first to cast a stone at her"

you literally just did. Read what you wrote. "No one said Tier 2 kids are having as much fun". Again love Eastern Pa/NJ hockey parents. Keep the laughs coming.
