hello is it true holydell has 10u and above teams practicing on their small mite rink as their regular ice? what a rip off if so

Do you mean the 3/4th rink as most of these places like to advertise those sheets of ice?  Everyone here should be able to calculate Area (length x width) and know that it's more like 35% of a sheet of ice.

PHC & Venom rule! Lower teams banished to small rink or crappy ice up the road! Even Venom Minor is treated like red headed stepchild! Hollydell is awesome!

why do people always assume its bitter parents whose kids got cut? Totally not the case here.

No so much! Would not let my kids do Venom/PHC even though they were asked to tryout. My kids play soccer, lacrosse, tennis, baseball, swimming. They are muti-sport athletes. I just hate being treated like crap, while paying a lot of money!

yup. the hurricanes program should be a lot cheaper than it is, for the product given. but parents keep signing up so it will never end

Maybe your coaches will focus on small area skills instead of full ice mite systems.  Probably end up being better hockey players in the long run.  You can still eat and drink at the bar I Assume?  life is good.

its great for mites, what about 12u teams having it as a normal practice slot

its great for mites, what about 12u teams having it as a normal practice slot

it is better than splitting ice with another team
