My Question is do Midget 18U players really want to play 36\40  regular season games. 4 tournaments and then 15-20 High School Games.   I think a lot of these kids want to play hockey, do all the social events they can with their friends and also work.   Adding about 15 games and most likely another weekend away for this age div is insane if you ask me.

The games will be Regional. There are 3 regions. You will only play outside of your region in showcases.
Tomorrows ice isn't local or in the central region.

As someone already said, money talks.  I really think most Dvhl orgs should stand fast for now.  They may see an influx of members that don’t want to play such an intense schedule or pay $3500 per kid to play AHF.

The only TI teams in the Central are the AA teams. The North Stars teams are in the South. If Harrisburg, York, and Wilkes Barre are ok for DVHL games then TI is fine for you to drive to for an AHF game.

The TI Selects teams are the only Tomorrow's Ice teams playing in the Central region, and they already play all of their AHF and EJEPL games against those Central region clubs.  Very little would change.

I agree.  I think there are enough clubs remaining to keep the DVHL around (and no more drives to Scranton and Bethlehem now!).  Our club is going to AHF, and we'll stick with it, but if our club was left behind, I would certainly stick it out and see how it goes.

I’m keeping an open mind but not expecting anything really different. EJ and DV have their own problems too. I am interested to see how the seedings tournament goes which has always been a problem with the usual sandbagger teams.

One thing is certain about the AHF the board is not a combined 500 years old. Hopefully they remain neutral and don't pull strings for league favorites like they often do with discipline.

AA is 40 games which includes the tournaments. 36 for A/B. Most DVHL teams already play that many while also playing high school. When my son found out that NJ played a short season, he said he wouldn't like that at all. HS games are so spaced out sometimes and half the teams stink so you could go a month with playing 1 competitive game. He is happy to have club games on the weekend.
