Because the venue, Flyers SkateZone is owned by the Flyers and therefore the team is owned by the Flyers. In reality, Only the Flyers Elite and Flyers Youth out of Voorhees should have use of the Flyers name and likeness (logos). The "Little" and "Junior" Flyers adopted the names many years ago when the Flyers were less concerned about copyright infringement than they were about exposure for themselves and the NHL. Who remembers The Flyers Alumni Youth Hockey?
