Parents would all need to be screened by staff each time they enter the rink and be policed for masks and maintaining social distancing.  People are already being a pain in the ass about all this, ask any rink manager even trying to follow rules. People in rinks are taking masks off once in building or coming up with all kinds of bs medical reasons why they can't wear masks or wearing masks wrong, so can see why rinks don't want to deal with it. Staff get abused and people are jerks.

Any parent or kid with symptoms couldn't come in anyway. This is going to be everyone by mid September.

In PA rinks can be 50% total capacity but  gatherings indoors are limited to 25 people. Governors order says an indoor gathering includes sporting events, trainings. Outdoor allows for 250 but with social distancing. If other sports aren't doing that they risk a lot.

Well this is a huge distinction....is it 25% of capacity or 25 total people?  You must admit that logically why would 25 people be allowed in a broom closet apartment but also only 25 people in a giant 30,000 sq. ft. rink?  25% of capacity make much more sense when you think about this example, correct?

It’s 25% or 25 people total, but the lesser of the two.  So 25 in a rink and 1 in a broom closet.

No, that makes zero sense....the more square footage you have the more people can spread out....doesn't that make logical sense to you?

No, it doesn’t.  The state is simply doing everything it can to reduce spread and to them that means no more than 25 people indoors.  Look it up.  That is how it is worded.

And actually that 25% wording is in the New Jersey guidance. I cannot seem to find it in the Pennsylvania guidanceSo who the hell knows
