The bigger issue here is that people are taking the time to talk about 8 year old kids.  Let them have fun, if they are good and want to get serious at 15-16 years old, great.  If not, enjoy the ride, find the best coach / environment for them to grow, it doesn't have to be 1 hour away nor cost $10k per year.  Live and learn from those of us that have been there, done that.  Good luck!

AHF is smart. More league games means a more stable schedule. I will have my fall and winter planned with 40 AA games on my calendar by midsummer. NJ and DV can go away. Plus cost are not going up, so how is AHF about money?

Love watching PHC and Hollydell families trying to take down FE.  Just sad that the only way they can win is by taking down others.  Culture of "sleaze" runs deep from the top down at that rink.

Everything written on this trail is stupid! AAA hockey for 8,9,10 year old children. How dumb can you get. That is like having travel soccer, lacrosse, baseball or basketball for 8,9,10 year old children. Wait, that is a thing. We as parents are so dumb. Does any of this increase your kids chances at a scholarship or going pro? No. Just get your kids skating, paly multiple sports and let them have fun. If FE 2013 team goes 1-31 like 2011 FE, will the kids have fun? NO! No child under the age of 13 should be playing AAA hockey. Every parent on here should be ashamed. Every coach should be ashamed. We are robbing our children of their childhoods. 98% of these kids will never play hockey in college. 99.89% of kids will not go pro. For the love of our children, just stop the nonsense and let them have fun!

It’s funny how the PHC/Venom parents are still pissed about having to drive to Hollydell seven days a week. I get it, I would be too.

I really wouldn’t call 8-0 a slaughter. They’re a new club and most of kids played in-house last year. You lived in a rink almost everyday last year…trying to hard to be relevant…

PHC12’s were outscored  30-1 by MF Rangers this year, and the Minutemen Flames outscored them 57-7…Now that’s a slaughter. Wouldn’t you agree?

PHC11’s struggle with MFR 12’s…What would those parents think if they 
read your comments…I never met someone so proud to be in 8th place.

Mocking kids that are 7-10 years old, and a coach trying to team them is quite low. You should really educate yourself on development and see how it works…Better yet, ask Jared about the time he cut Johnny Gaudreau from his 16u team at Virtua…

Parents who pay tier 1 money for mites and squirts are nuts. Thats what this thread tells me. Coaches being paid to coach them are stealing money kudos to them.
