Who cares how many players Mercer 11's were missing. They feasted on weak team last year and struggled against upper level teams. They are overrated!

Mercer 2011 wasn't overrated.  They played well enough to make the AYHL playoffs, then lost out to strong teams from NJC and LVPY in the round robin (LI Royals did as well).  They have some good players and a strong G.  The have holes in their lineup like every other team, but they are tough to play against.  Not sure who they picked up for the upcoming season, but they should easily handle the USPHL which looks to be very weak at 2011 for 2022-23.

What's the difference between the THF South and USPHL North other than regions and names?  Are they both under the THF umbrella?

THF not weak at 2011. Mercer will be middle of pack at best. Multiple THF 2011 teams added multiple players. They got around 4 max rule of district due to family relocation.

Mercer Chiefs and Woodbridge Wolfpack were the only teams rated north of 92.00 in MYR last season. Woodbridge lost most of their best players, so Mercer look like the only legitimate AAA team in the league at that birthyear. PAL & CJR are good teams, but neither of them would have been expected to do much better than .500 in the AYHL last season. PAL's new roster looks pretty similar to last season's. Did CJR upgrade significantly? CPD, Westchester Express, and the Hitmen were a step behind PAL and CJR last season. The Hitmen seemed to have upgraded very marginally. What about CPD and Westchester, did they upgrade significantly? Revolution struggled against quality AA teams last season. Did they pick up a bunch of new players? The Jets are a AA team, literally. Granted, they have some really good AA players, and an excellent goalie, and they should be competitive in the league, but they don't look like a team that would finish above .500 in the AYHL. The Hartford Wolfpack look like they would be competitive in the AHF 12U A Division. What about the NY Aviators? Should we expect much from that team?

You people are insane. What a review for hockey teams for 11 year old's. I was told by friends to be careful letting my kids play ice hockey. They told me parents are crazy and this site proves it. Why does everyone take children's sports so seriously? Parents need to take a step back, reevaluate and let your kids have fun! WOW!!!!!

Yet here you are, checking out this site and complaining about it all.  You may not admit it, but you're knee deep with the rest of us.  Welcome to the jungle!

LOL!  No offense, but, other than Mercer, nobody in the THF could even keep a game within 6 goals of the top 6 AYHL teams this coming season (PHC, LVPY, NJC, Avs, Royals, and Jr. Flyers).  THF is truly AA hockey that is in line with the middle/bottom of the AYHL.
