Why is Team PA Brick so bad year after year?

Team PA is bad for the same reason Quebec Flyees team is always bad. You have the Western PA version of PHC/JrF picking teams. Best players are never picked for teams. Rink Directors pick players they think are good, but are really only good in the systems their home rinks play. No PHC/JrF players can adapt to different styles and the same goes for Penquins Elite. These so called Elite SQ and PW  kids must be told what to do at all times on ice or they are lost!

Not 1 2014 from SE PA or South Jersey made Team PA. Is the team selected the best players? I highly doubt that. 0-4 record speaks for itself!

PA Brick has the goofiest staff youth hockey has ever seen. They can’t evaluate talent or coach in games. It’s quite comical, we witnessed it all spring long.

It’s not about talent it’s a money race. By the time your kid plays in the brick tournament you have spent well over 15k. It’s not about the best, it’s about deep pockets. Invest that money on hockey development if you really want your kid to be good. Not get 8th in some tournament in a mall….

Team PA is a joke. They do not know how to build a team, they play favorites, have bad coaching and then go 0-6. My South NJ kid did not even go to tryouts. He had a shot to make team but unless you are a JrF or PHC kid Team PA won't seriously consider you. My kid spent those tryout weekends at clinics. Spent Brick money on off ice training and skills. My kid is better for it. Team PA kids will come home devastated because they got crushed. Not the kids fault but the adults who set them up for failure. We wont be trying out for Quebec in 2 years either. We have a plan and these money grab tourneys are not pary of it. No one knows what kids have a shot until 15-17 years old.
