Seems like 14u and 12u hockey (even at A and B levels) is approaching $5,000 at some NJ Black Bear rinks. Is this really what parents want to pay for those levels? Nothing against those levels, but do you really need to have 50+ practices and travel tournaments? Whatever happened to semi competitive

Is anyone hearing that the transfer rule of no more than 2 kids from a Tier 1 team to another Tier 1 team will be enforced regardless of it being challenged by the team that loses the players? This could have big impacts on Lehigh and PHC 2011s who are likely losing kids.

i know most AAA teams are full ice practice. for tier II, what are most people seeing these days?

Anybody have any updates on Lehigh Valley Phantoms 2011's team? Lots of talk of them not having a team this season or getting the players to field a AAA Team. If true that would be a shame, they have been very good over the last 3 years.

I have noticed that once again the DVHL is afraid of competition deleting all club post about evals from AHF teams. On the other side the AHF fan page has many DVHL teams posting about their evals. What is the DVHL and the people running the fan page afraid of? As a business owner I welcome the competition...

Now that the AHF has wrapped up its playoffs....what did you think of the playoff format?

Lots of chatter about tie breakers, I don't see the controversy - but I do see how it stinks for the odd team out.

Just curious, how are the New York Saints in the Atlantic District if they play in Monsey, NY? Shouldn’t they be in the New York District?
