Just realized that tryouts for 2023 wrap right around Easter with most schools in recess. It would have thought that whomever makes up the master schedule that all programs follow would have used some common sense before picking April 5-12 for Tier I and II tryouts.

Before we decide is it the same for all BB AHF teams or just us at Igloo?


I’ve heard rumors that teams are looking at leaving the AHF to go back to the Dvhl. Who are these teams exactly? The only non BB owned teams are Wissahickon, Lancaster, Team Philly, VFC, and Haverford. WBS isn’t owned by BB, but was never in the Dvhl.

I suppose VFC or Team Philly could see the Dvhl

I'm hearing a lot of clubs have left or will leave the NJYHL. What clubs are leaving the NJYHL at the end of this season for the AHF?

Curious what Genesis parents are thinking about for next year considering the club will not play in the AHF. If the option is to remain in the DVHL and put together a Frankenstein schedule, will you be looking to jump ship? Maybe more a question for parents of AA kids that won't have competition...

We only have two months left in the season. Where are we going next year?

In the last DVHL minutes they indicated they were looking for their current clubs to let them know if they were returning next season by the end of the year. Does anyone know which teams may have committed?


I wanted to get some feedback/opinions about tier 1 versus 2 hockey. My son (2013) is a first year squirt playing tier 2 AA currently. There are not a lot of 2013s in our area so next year the team would be comprised of probably a lot of 2014s. For his progression and competition, would it be better
