It was a big night for Alex Hood, and Danny Mackley as they teamed up to provide the majority of the offense for the Bensalem icemen. The Owls pulled off quite an accomplishment Thursday evening defeating the defending league champion Pennridge Rams.

If you were looking for a non-stop action-packed hockey game, last night would've been your ticket. The Knights and Indians faced off for the second time this season after North Penn winning in preseason 4-1.

I was told Flyers Elite is going to have pure age teams below Bantam next season- 2015, 2014, 2013 & 2012. Anybody heard the same? Son is 2013 AA this season and we are only 30 mins from rink. The 2011 & 2013 records are not great this year, but does anyone know if it is worth going AAA 1st year...

Just sharing information about Maine Timber Hockey. An elite summer hockey program offering AA/AAA teams 2011-2016. Evaluations are coming up end of December & beginning of January.

Is it me or does it seem like they are having trouble signing up teams for this year's tournament?

My kids play other sports. Soccer starts in mid-August and ends end of Nov. Basketball starts early Nov and ends end of Feb. Baseball starts in April and ends end of June. Lacrosse stars March ends early June. That is about 3.5 months per sport.

Not understanding why all of these AAA teams feel the need to travel all over the place (New England, Upstate NY, Chicago, Detroit), when there are probably 20 teams within a 1.5 hour drive that you can barely beat
