Nda's don't apply to people who aren't the owners and enough details are out there that got there from casual talk around the rink with people who matter.

Being a business broker, I guarantee what you heard about price is wrong. Especially since BB only assumed lease in AC. Comcast most likely gave Pennsauken away do to disrepair of rink. Unless you saw agreements, you know nothing. BB business model is to buy rinks cheap, make repairs to mechanicals and raise prices to where they should be.

You just proved #49 guest point which if you read through the comments is about what Black Bear is doing with buying. You don't need to see agreements when commenting in generalized discussion comes from the people running the rinks. The rinks are in disrepair all of them are and nobody wants to pay to fix it. But new ownership just throws a bandaid on everything calls it fixed and says raise rates. Do whatever you want my kids don't play for your business so not getting our moneyj.

Rink managers and employees have no idea what price was paid for rink. It would not be first or kast time a business owner inflates actual sales price to look good. BB replace mechanicals first, then will do cosmetics. Stay on your bitter high horse buddy!

How do you know BB overpaid for rinks? Have you seen the confidential bill of sale?

Real estate transactions, at least in the state of NJ, are all publicly available on the web. It’s not hard to find at all.

Really, that is your basis for overpayu6. When buying a company, wuich ghe igloo is, you buy real estate in seperate transaction from company as not to disclose sale price. That land is worth more than Igloo company. You know nothing!

I guess if typos were only complaint, the facts were correct. No one but former owners and BB know what deal terms were. Stop hating on BB and be thankful rinks are still open. If you don't like BB, find a rink not owned by them or change sports. The complainig is getting old and BB is not going awat. AHF/BB leagues will be only leagues around in 2 years. Stop holding on to past and look to the future. You will be happier!

Everyone knows the rinks were all over paid for to ensure the rink owners got out of the business. You act like your big secret is actually a secret but it's not. You saved nothing.

Again you know nothing. Why would someone overpay for a dying business. BB got bargins and saved the owners from filing bankruptcy. Just ask Comcast. The value was in real estate not clubs or rinks. Now BB is saving youth hockey in NJ, PA, DE and MD. No one wants to admit there are too many rinks with hockey priced too low.

Wow! Thanks BB and shill for saving hockey across the land that was priced too low! You rock. George is ahead of the curve!

I believe over time your business model will indeed cause parents to find alternatives.  Your business plan is to buy all the lemons and then squeeze them.  Let’s not pretend it is anything more than that, please, “savior”. Regards.
