Teams leaving the NJYHL for AHF
Topic: January 23, 2023, 11:30:54 PM
I'm hearing a lot of clubs have left or will leave the NJYHL. What clubs are leaving the NJYHL at the end of this season for the AHF?

I heard somewhere the Avalanche will go full time AHF.  The Colts would be a new team entirely.  That’s just internet rumor though.

From what I heard 3 clubs that did a partial AHF season this year will be going full AHF next year as well as all BB run clubs that did both will just be AHF next year.

Here are the teams joining AHF full time. Not sure if they are from NJYHL:
NY Aviators
NJ Colts
NJ Bandits
NJ Avalanche
Skylands Kings
Jersey Shore Wildcats

About the BB Clubs - that means Wildcats and Kings are leaving to play AHF full time. I'm not sure if the Flyers Skate Zone rinks are all acquired by BB, but if that's the case then Sharks and Flyers Youth will leave too. Again I'm not sure about the Sharks and Flyers Youth. But the NJYHL has lost quite a few clubs over the last two years.

AC rink is closing and Sharks are folding. BB/AHF will never let Flyers Youth/Voorhees join. Rumor is Flyers building new practice facility new Well Fargo Center and Voorhees will be up for sale in 1-2 years.

I'm curious if the NJYHL will take in more clubs with all these teams leaving.
