Tryouts Maryland

Maryland & Virginia tryouts seem to be later than PA, DE, and NJ. How are the tryouts going in MD & VA? Are turnouts okay? Looking for players?

Team Maryland had amazing tryouts. there were over 75 kids at the 18U tryout alone. They should be dominant at AAA. MYHA is always strong . So is Jr. Black Bears, Ashburn and Reston and St. James.

The odd thing about Maryland tryouts is that they are a week or two after AAHA tryouts (since MD is in the PVAHA).
I would love to know how the AAHA gets away with having tryouts so early.
One thing to consider, if your player doesn't make the team on the level (AA/UA/LA) that he/she wants in PA/NJ/DE.....they can always tryout in MD a week later.

St. James is always strong? Since when? Howard used to have really good midget teams but something happened an now Tri City and MYHA are much better. Ashburn and Reston are best bets in VA.

TM only had 21 kids at the 2012 tryouts.
