Looks like someone is mad because the “refs” lost the game for them. I am sure the fact that the team was out played and had 50+ shots on net wasn’t the reason for the loss... Also isn’t it the rink/organization that assigns refs not the DVHL?

Skate Zone refs are good if you are not the blazers. They take away the home team advantage that's for sure

You got that backwards. Skatezone refs are good if ARE the Blazers.

If you think the officials are so bad, maybe you should take the training every year, go through all of the requirements annually, and lace up your skates and get out there.  :P

Ah my favorite, instead of entertaining the fact that officiating in youth hockey actually does dangerously suck, just say... if you don't like it, then maybe you should do it...

I have a better idea.  Spend some of that USA hockey gold mine revenue stream to do some real training and continuing ed/workshops for these bumbling cash seeking buffoons.

I have a better idea for kids who want to ref, no fees period, no out of pocket expenses ever. No having to pay for anything including their pants, shirt and whistle. What company makes their employees pay to work for them? USA hockey insurance company does.

Dvhl has the $. They charge enough for for bs fines to every organization.  Where does that $ go towards?  Think we need more training for our refs too.  Some do kill the game for teams across the board home team or not!

I have seen game dangerously out of control due to lack of ref ability/caring/control of the players.  I have also seen refs just in the way and kids getting hurt.

more training please
