Check your facts bozo. LF had 2 goalies, and less than two fulls lines. Are you talking about another team you dope? Pay attention, go get your crayons and start writing things down.

What are you complaining about exactly? The person above clearly stated that LF only had 8-9 players (I’m assuming they were excluding goalies) which is less than two complete lines. I will second the great job Shayne did last season. He’s a good coach and the kids worked hard.
Playing 65 games like my sons 2012 team isn’t for every kid or every family but we enjoyed the experience, he got better, developed friendships, and is none the worse for it. He is an excellent lacrosse player in offseason, is part of a youth theater company and is learning to play the guitar. He gets plenty of time away from rink and does little at rink in offseason but sticks and pucks with his friends. It’s a mistake to believe AAA kids aren’t well rounded, well adjusted, healthy kids who’s parents somehow are ignorant to boundaries and the welfare of their children. I could care less if he goes pro or D1. He plays to the level of his capabilities and unlike eating too much ice cream, isn’t being harmed in the process.

I don’t have the patience or the crayons to explain this to a PHC or Delco parent. Go back and read the thread. Sound the big words out.

She isn’t a PHC OR Delco parent but perhaps you should stay in your lane and worry about your own kid and team and let them worry about theirs. It really doesn’t effect your life at all. It comes off as just more jealousy from the “My kid made the team but we thought he was better off playing A” crowd.

It’s affect and not effect. Affect is a verb.  Effect is a noun.

I love watching letter chasers argue, so much free entertainment.

I rarely post and do not know how to start a new thread, so I apologize in advance. I posted here since it is for AAA parents. Players on the team in question play on multiple different AAA teams. I will remain anonymous because I have to see these kids/parents at AAA games during the upcoming season and I do not want anything to happen to me or my kid.

Great Tournament in Woodbridge this weekend! However, I am compelled to post about the behavior from the Squirt "Select" team during our two games. The actions of certain parents was atrocious (and I am being nice)! With one of these parents' reputation known at every ice rink in NJ! The yelling at the kids and threatening behavior towards our parents was nothing short of intimidating and scary! Other "Select" parents seemed embarrassed by this. Coaches and parents constantly yelling at the refs should not have been tolerated! Reckless and dangerous play from multiple players should have resulted in ejections! Chopping at our goalie after the whistle should have resulted in multiple penalties (so proud of our goalie for staying focused). Their coaches & parents were encouraging this "way to be aggressive" style of play. Their coach was still arguing with one ref long after the semi-final game was over and both teams had left the ice! I am told this coach has a terrible reputation with refs because of his antics last season with his full ice mite team. News flash: YOU DID NOT LOSE BECAUSE OF THE REFS!  The shame of all this is they had some really good players. They may have won the tournament if they had better coaching.

It is a testament to the tournament officials and the four other Squirt teams that this event was so much fun! We look forward to next years tournament and hope this "Selects" team does not attend!

You know who cares? The 9 & 10 year old children at that hockey tournament that were subjected to that outlandish behavior of the coaches, parents and players. The kids on that Select team acted just like the parents and coaches.

Is every AAA parent a letter chaser, just because they want to play and practice more? Tier 2, ADM model, isn’t that attractive. Maybe one day you’ll understand.

Yes, because the first thing out of the parent’s mouth isn’t my son plays hockey, but it’s my son plays AAA hockey.
